Natural colors are beautiful and ephemeral, changing with each season. Fall colors change the fastest and can last the least amount of time, especially high in canyons exposed to harsher and more variable weather as in Provo Canyon, Utah.

Oddly eroded stone pools in the Subway rock formation in Zion National Park are amazingly deep will all other area around have resisted erosion. These pools for small and dramatic ripples and flows of water tha make up the beauty of the Subway.

Oxbow Bend before the sunrises in the fall and winter is home to large amounts of mist shrouding the relfection of the Grand Tetons and Mount Moran. These changing seasons are marked by snow bright vibrant colors.

The flowing moments of time we see occur in small ways all around us. The water passing by, the changing colors of the seasons, and the continual gradual changes in the massive rock walls that we feel are our foundation and never alter. Zion National Park is an incredible place to watch change occur each year, day, and second.

The Subway in Zion is a classic feature of the desert southwest. It is a unique and very impressive geologic formation. Beyond the geology the Subway glows with a transcendent beauty that speaks to the sacredness of nature, and the world we live in.

The Left Fork area of Zion National Park is home to the amazing rock formation called the Subway. It is also home to an amazing series of cascades. The cascades are surrounded by enormous boulders, trees, and high canyon walls. When the colors of the trees change for the season this area appears as if it has dressed for a rare formal occasion.

The Left Fork Trail in Zion leads ultimately to the Subway. There are many amazing things on the way. When you see this famous crack flowing with water, you will know that the Subway Formation is just around the corner.
