Sunlit PeaksSunlight strikes only certian areas of a sandstone mountain in Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area in southern Nevada in the southwestern section of the United States. The light seen only on the top of the mountain is the result of clouds blocking light that is able to actually reach the canyon itself early in the morning. |
